Vocational Projects

Rotary Club of Salisbury vocational projects are focused around either using the members vocational skills for the benefit of the community or using the Rotary breath of contacts to grow and build resiliency in the Northern Suburbs businesses.

The focus projects for the Vocational team are :-

  • Innovative visits of club members to local businesses (Normally happens on a 5th Monday of a Month), and

  • Northern Business Breakfast – this once per month business networking breakfast brings together high quality speakers and 130 -150 business owners, managers and leaders. Held on the 4th Wednesday of the month, 7am – 8.30am, it rotates monthly between Parafield Gardens Community Club and Grand Central (Central Districts Football Club). The event is a joint collaboration together with the Rotary Club of Elizabeth and the Polaris Business and Innovation Centre (City of Salisbury). the monthly speaker announcements are mainly done via direct email, however they are always listed on the club Facebook page www.facebook.com/RCSalisbury  (you don’t need to be a Facebook user to see this page). The breakfast also has some spin off opportunities including :-
    • breakfast networking attendance
    • post breakfast workshop (capped at 20 people)
    • advertising in “The Connector” magazine – over 1000 readers per month
    • advertising with the expo display stand at the breakfast (limit 1 business per month)
    • supporting the Northern Business Breakfast Young Entrepreneur Scholarship
